On September 19th Anderson Livsey celebrated cultural diversity with our second annual International Night. Anderson-Livsey families and faculty prepared display tables full of information on their countries and cultures. Students were issued passports that got stamped as they explored the different countries. Many of the countries provided samples of food or drink that is common in the country. Countries that were represented included: Nigeria, Japan, Uruguay, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Canada, Ghana, and Ethiopia. Students showed their signed passports and completed information sheets to receive a package of international candy samples.
The entertainment portion included parents dancing an authentic baile folklorico from Mexico, as well as performances by the Anderson Livsey chorus, and the Lady Generals Dance Team.
